Barn Och Kvinnor Organisation Launches Hair and Beauty Course for The Vulnerable Youth in Kenya!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting new Hair and Beauty Course for the vulnerable youth in Kenya, spearheaded by the Barn Och Kvinnor Organisation. Under the leadership of Zanet Amalemba, this six-month intensive program aims to equip young people with the essential skills needed to thrive in the beauty industry while fostering personal growth and community development.

KEY GOAL OF THE HAIR & BEAUTY IGA PROJECT

To provide training and
skills development in
hair and beauty services to
empower the vulnerable
youth with marketable
skills and opportunities
for economic independence

Skills Training

Participants will receive hands-on training in:

  • Hair styling: Cutting, braiding, weaving, and coloring techniques.
  • Beauty therapy: Skin care, make-up artistry, and nail treatments.
  • Salon management: Entrepreneurial and customer service skills to help establish and run successful beauty businesses.
  • Sustainable practices: Using eco-friendly products and techniques, promoting health-conscious and environmentally responsible beauty services.
