Organisation
Introduction
Barn och Kvinnor Organisation values its relationships with partners, members, donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders who collaborate to achieve its purposes and goals. We recognize that transparency and accountability build trust and foster successful contractual and donor relationships.
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to underscore the importance of transparency and accountability and to facilitate the development and implementation of measures by Barn och Kvinnor Organisation’s Board and Staff to ensure appropriate transparency and accountability.
Policy
1. Board Reporting
- Compliance with Legal and Contractual Obligations:
- Report annually to the members on the organization’s activities and provide an opportunity for questions, in accordance with the constitution.
- Prepare financial reports as required by law.
- Prepare an annual report in line with fundraising license requirements.
- Report to government agencies as stipulated in grant and funding contracts.
- Report to the relevant Taxation Office departments as required for deductible gift recipient status.
- Report to donors according to the terms of any grants issued.
- Stakeholder Reporting:
- Annually, the Board will assess if additional stakeholder relationships could benefit from receiving a report on the organization’s activities and performance.

Barn och Kvinnor Organisation manages client records in compliance with privacy law obligations.
3. Member and Donor Records
Client records are managed in accordance with the organization’s privacy policy and privacy law obligations.
4. Access to Minutes of General Meetings and the Members Register
Access is provided according to the terms of the constitution.
Responsibilities
Founder & President:
- Ensure systems and processes are in place for capturing, recording, and analyzing information necessary for Board reporting.
- Report regularly to the Board on organizational operations.
