BARN OCH KVINNOR ORGANISATION OVERVIEW

Barn Och Kvinnor Organisation is a non-profit organisation fully registered in Sweden with organisation number 802511-3658 and also registered in Uganda as a Company Limited by Guarantee with registration number 80020003906032. Our vision is to work on initiatives and programs based on the principles of “ no poverty, zero hunger, quality education, sustainable communities..” The organisation comprises a board, members, volunteers, and other dedicated individuals who, together with local organisations worldwide, strive to reach orphans, the youth, widows and vulnerable women.

 

The Board

The board consists of five founders & co-founders. Everyone on the board works voluntarily for Barn Och Kvinnor Organisation. Throughout the year, the board has held meetings and carried out tasks in smaller working groups.

 

Board Members

• Chairperson: Daphine Leeser, LL.M, a child & women’s rights legal professional &

Advocate with focus on developing the organisation’s activities and reaching more

vulnerable children and women including the youth in collaboration with various

partners.

• Board Member: Juliet Hansson, Co-founder and Project advisor, ’

• Board Member: Susanna Makumbi Brandsen Co-founder and project advisor,

• Board Member: Jane Kakande, Co-founder and Qualified social worker and Project advisor.

• Board Member: Flavia Kakaire; Qualified lawyer, Co-founder & project advisor

provides legal expertise in this field and assists with coordination and execution of

projects in Uganda.

• Board Member: Esther Kisembo; Qualified lawyer & Co-founder, provides legal

expertise in this field.
